I’ve been carving mice for a good few years now and I have finally settled upon what I believe to be my favourite style. I like to give mice to people who have moved into a new home as I believe a house is not a home unless a mouse lives there.
These are some of my older mice, a bit of a style mix eh?

Well, over time my style has evolved and these are now the mice I mostly carve.

I’ve also recently started to sell some of my mice on Facebook, in fact quite a few, I think altogether I’ve sold about eight so far and I’ve got a further two in the works for a lady who has asked for three in total. These are some of the ones I’ve sold so far.

The later ones have started to become more about the long curly tail than the mouse itself which I’m thinking of reining in a little as both Tracey (My Babe) and I feel that they are getting a little extreme. I’m pleased with how the body and head shapes have morphed though and I’ll stick with that. I suppose I shouldn’t complain too much about the shapes though as they seem to sell well that way.
Anyway, back to the drawing board for my next idea, Hedgehogs I think since my trade mark is a hedgehog after all.
