So, here we are, having just walked to the Red Beach at the Southern end of Santorini. Part of the cliff has obviously fallen off onto the path so they have erected a rickety handrail and a lightweight rope.
It struck me that if this were in the UK they’d have closed the path, erected warning signs, built a new path out of concrete and spent millions stabilising the cliff.
And here was me thinking that the whole of Europe was governed by the same Health and Safety legislation…..
